What are Tibetan preparations made of?
Any mixture for decoction/tincture, tablets, capsules, etc. are natural ingredients ground into powder. These can be leaves, fruits, roots, herbs, animal organs. The main principle of Tibetan medicine is no chemicals!
Medicinal herbal mixtures usually consist of three component groups:
– main active ingredients;
– auxiliary ingredients that enhance the effect of the active substance;
– ingredients that prevent and neutralize the effect of the first two groups.
Another feature of Tibetan medicines is the large number of different ingredients. In some mixtures, their number can be in the tens. Thanks to this, a complex effect on the body and energy is achieved, contributing to a faster recovery.
